WE CAME. WE SAW. WE CONQUERED. WE OUT!
My name is Paige Thomas, and I am an Indianapolis, Indiana native. I attended Indiana University Bloomington and participated in a number of experiences that inspired my higher education journey, including participating in a scholarship program for high-achieving students of color and holding chapter, council, and campus Fraternity and Sorority Life positions. In 2013, I received my B.S. in Elementary Education after participating in the Global Gateway Student Teaching Program in Chicago. Upon my graduation, I spent three years in the elementary setting as a licensed teacher. My commitment and passion for curricular and co-curricular learning led me to be named a 2016 Teacher of the Year nominee and Professional Learning Community Team Lead.
While at Indiana University, I serve as the Diversity and Residence Life Liaison for the Diversity Enrichment and Achievement Program at IUPUI where I helped to launch a living learning community. I also gained experiences in Housing and Residence Life, Career Development, Service Learning, Multicultural Affairs, and Scholarship Programs.
