WE CAME. WE SAW. WE CONQUERED. WE OUT!
Sidra Sherrill was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. She received her Bachelor’s degree in History and minors in Psychology and Sociology from Northern Illinois University. Sidra is currently a Graduate Student Success Advisor in the Academic and Career Development Office at IUPUI, and she completed a yearlong practicum in the Student-Athlete Support Services and Compliance Office at Butler University.
Sidra's personal background in athletics gave her the passion for educating student-athletes. After spending multiple hours with athletic administrators as a student, it was clear to her that the influential interactions they had with student-athletes were something she desired in her own professional career. This led to her long-term goal of becoming an Associate Athletic Director of a Student-Athlete Support Services Office. She would love to start her career as an Athletic Advisor or a Coordinator of Student-Athlete Development. She looks forward to researching the transitions to life after college and the digital identity of student athletes.
