The Big 10 at the Big 10 is comprised of 10 Black graduate students from all walks of life. Some began graduate school immediately following their undergraduate work, while others worked professionally before coming to IU. We hail from both private and public institutions, PWI’s and HBCU’s. We have experienced both struggle and triumph. We have a common goal to make change in the communities that have granted us opportunity, growth, and pain. We share many similarities, and just as many differences. We are not monolithic, but we are a powerful collective.
